Roundtable Information

-December Roundtable is cancelled, enjoy the holidays.
-January Roundtable will be on January 8th (changed because of New Years Day), at 7:00, at the red brick building on 165 N 100 E, Alpine (Main St. & 200 N) One of the leaders from the BSA will teach us how to use the new website my.scouting.org. Because of this our breakout classes will be short.
-February Roundtable will be on February 5th at 7:00. Pat will be training everyone on the new Cub Scout program that will be changing in June. Please be there this training will be very helpful on understanding and transitioning over to the new program.

Webelos Pow Wow - Saturday, January 24, 2015





Exciting News!  At last - Registration for the Webelos Pow Wow to be held on Saturday January 24, 2015 will open on Friday, November 7, 2014.  Registration will close on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

For all you eager beavers - you can read some of the details, but don't try to register before the 7th because it won't work. ;)

University of Scouting

Roundtable Information

-October Roundtable will be this Thursday, October 2nd, at 7:00 at 6700 W 10400 N, Highland (acrossed from Freedom Elementary). We will offer Leader Specific Training that will run from 7:00 to 9:00. 

There will also be a meeting (Webelos Wow) for webelos and their parents from 6:30 to 8:00.
At the Boy Scout Leader Roundtable meeting this month (at 7:00, at 3950 W Cedar Hills Dr, Cedar Hills) a leader from the BSA will be training them how to use the new my.scouting.org website. You are welcome to attend that meeting. We will be getting this training on January 8th.

-November Roundtable will be an Awards Night and Dutch Oven Cookout with the Boy Scout Leaders. It will be on November 6th, at 7:00 at 3950 W Cedar Hills Dr, Cedar Hills. There will be no breakout classes at this meeting.

Roundtable Information

Akela's Council
This year, Utah National Parks Council will be putting on their 30th session of Akela's Council.  Akela's Council has been going strong since 1987, with over 870 past participants.  Akela's Council is a 4 1/2 day Cub Scout Leader Training.  This year Akela's Council will be held July 29 - August 2, 2014.

How do you apply?  Fees for Akela's Council are $170, but you can register early for special pricing!

Scouting for Food

The bags for Scouting for Food will be given to the Stake Primary Counselor at our next Roundtable (March 6th). The Cub Scouts will deliver the bags sometime between the 15th and the 21st. The Boy Scouts will pick up the filled bags on the 22nd. See more information: here

Gem & Mineral Show

The Timpanogos Gem & Mineral Society will be having their annual show on March 14th - 16th at the Spanish Fork Fair Grounds. The hours are 10 am to 7 pm and it is free. You may want to bring some money to buy grab bag, rocks or do activities. This is a great opportunity for Webelos to earn the Geologist activity badge.
