The table below lists the
requirements for the Faith in God award (a Primary award). Next to each
requirement is a potential Cub Scout equivalent. The seven (7) requirements for
the Cub Scout Religious Square Knot emblem are also designated by the square
knot symbol. This table can help your Cub Scout complete requirements for both
programs at the same time.

To Earn the Faith in God
award you also need to do the following:

1. Pray daily to Heavenly
Father.
2. Read the Scriptures
regularly.
3. Keep the commandments
and live “My Gospel Standards.”
4. Honor your parents and
be kind to your family.
5. Pay your tithing and
attend tithing settlement.
6. Attend sacrament
meetings and Primary regularly.
And
1. Write your testimony.
2. Memorize the Articles
of Faith and explain what they mean.
3. Have an interview with
a member of your Bishopric or Branch Presidency.
